Well I am pleased to announce that the flowers worked. She was absolutely surprised to get flowers at work and made sure to show every other woman she works with the flowers and let them know that I was a jerk and she was right. That’s not exactly what I was hoping for. I was hoping she would admit she was a bit of a jerk too but the only thing that matters is the flowers worked.
So guys, I have learned that just about anything can be fixed with flowers. Well as long as it wasn’t something like you hurt your lady physically and then in my opinion, the only thing that will make that right is for you to spend a few nights in jail and for her to dump you but that’s my opinion.
My girlfriend and I had a little misunderstanding last night and I have to admit, it was more my fault than hers. There I said it. Now how can I make it up to her. I know, I’ll call a local florist and have them deliver her some flowers at work tomorrow with a note saying “I know I’m a jerk. Can you forgive me”. How’s that sound? Well that should be a standard card at flower shops because it’s true. Well sometimes anyway.
They were adding on to a building across the street from where I work and used a lot of expanded metal mesh in the warehouse they were building. I started talking with the foreman and he told me the company they got this from was out of Houston, Texas. The company was Petro Wire & Steel and you can find them at pwsteel.com. They can fabricate most anything you need in most any material from steel to fiberglass.
I started thinking that I wanted a floor in the attic part of my garage and the metal mesh would be great for part of that so there would be some heat to go up in the winter and cool in the summer. I’ll have to check more into that. Sure sounds like it would work to me but I could be wrong. I talked to my father about it and believe it or not, he even thought it was a good idea.
I guess I’m a typical male because I love my car. I always want it to look good. You can wash and polish the car every day but if your tires don’t look good too, then the whole car looks like crap. I always use tire dressings to make not only my car but the wheels look great too.
Nothing looks better than a nice shiny car with wheels as shiny as the car itself. I use Black Magic that I found at blackmagicshine.com and have ever since the first time I tried it. Once I sprayed it on my tires and saw they way they shine like a new penny, I knew I would never have to look any farther.
It just hit me that it’s already March. My mother has a birthday coming soon too. She’s getting up in the years, well not really that old but it’s kind of hard to imagine my mother in her 50′s even though she is. Dad has always been ‘old’ to me but not Mom. She’s still not what I call ‘old’ but is starting to act more her age every day.
Hey, that’s where I get this not wanting to ‘grow-up’ mess from that my fathers always complaining about. He’s always said I got that from my mother and he’s right. She did okay for herself though. In fact, she didn’t get her college degree until she was in her 30′s so I’m ahead of the game if that’s the case. Thanks Mom for being you and making me who I am!!! I love you.
